About Me

Transformation is more than technology — it’s leadership, innovation, and sustainability in action. I'm a technology evangelist passionate about advancing new technologies. I welcome opportunities to speak with public and industry groups about the transformative benefits of applied digital intelligence in operational and energy spaces with a special interest in energy — from distributed generation and microgrids to biofuels, green hydrogen, and responsible EV charging. Here, you'll find insights into the latest developments across leadership, technology and energy spectrums, along with my personal reflections on sustainability, innovation, and the future of energy. I hope you find this content both thought-provoking and inspiring — and I invite you to reach out and join the conversation.

So what's happening now?

Currently I'm Vice President of Software Engineering and Controls at FTI. In this role, I am responsible for the teams executing and supporting product software for both cloud and edge IoT/controls utilized in and with FTI's product solutions. I also am involved in identifying technologies, policies, and differentiated approaches to drive innovative product, process, and partner solutions for energy system delivery, monitoring and performance. My current focus is developing innovative control and monitoring solutions for our products with an eye toward visibility, management, energy reduction and sustainability of facilities through awareness, design and control, leveraging AI and machine learning for optimization and ongoing O&M.

Our goal is to make this technology modular, configurable, and scalable to deliver the right energy solutions more rapidly, but still provide the ability for the solution to grow and evolve as client needs change.

I'm open to conversations around energy, product development, technology and business operations. I look forward to hearing from you!

Steve
